Prepping: Six parents held their babies at the start of the first ACC baby race on Friday
Ready, set, go! The race was held during the halftime of the Pittsburgh vs. Boston College game on Friday at the Spectrum Center in North Carolina
The tots were given three minutes to cross the court to a parent on the other side in just three minutes as the song Baby Shark played
Though most babies refused to even crawl across the court, baby Jack (left in blue) was in the lead, until baby Paisley (right) surpassed him
After the babies were placed on the starting line and the whistle was blown two of the infants started crawling towards the goal as Baby Shark played in the background.
A baby named Javi took the lead – crawling forwards with a giddy smile before turning back to his mom.
Then baby Jack began to test his luck, pushing towards the end, and eventually surpassing Javi.
Cutting it close: Baby Jack was just inches from the finish line when he looked to his right and saw baby Paisley speeding towards the finish line
So close! Baby Paisley kept her eyes locked on a toy she wanted, propelling her towards the finish line as the crowds erupted in cheers
We have a winner! The tiny tot zoomed across the finish line despite not being in the lead, motivated by a video game controller

All the while a little girl named Paisley was ever so slowly crawling forwards, looking back at her mom every now and then.
When Jack slows just inches away from the finish line, little Paisley locks her eyes on a video game controller and crawls at lightening speed.
With her eyes on the prize, she crosses the finish line and picks up the toy, winning the race.
Her last-minute come-up awarded her roaring applause and cheers from the crowds during the first ever ACC Baby race.
In the end, Pittsburgh won the game 80-70.
